Marble

Stone, especially marble, became Lothar's material of choice.
The winters are long in Langenschwarz. Work outside stops in November
and begins gingerly again in April.
Because of this, we started sending boxes of roughed out marble sculptures
roughed out in Italy in the Summer
to be finished in South Florida during the Winter,
where we often stayed 4 months a year.
The sculptures were then available there for exhibits and galleries.
This very productive and successful period of Summer in Italy,
Winter in Florida, and Germany in between, lasted for about 10 years.
